If you are like me, then you are embracing the arrival of spring with open arms! It's the time of year when we welcome nature's blossoms, and embrace a sense of renewal. In addition to spring, April also marks an important celebration for those of us who care about the young members of our society: the children.

Residents in Long Beach, Palmdale and South Los Angeles interested in learning more about affordable and quality neighborhood preschools are encouraged to attend three upcoming park events on Saturday, April 9.
