"I want all of our children to excited about learning. And I want us, as parents—to rise up to meet the needs of these little people, giving them safe, productive, challenging environments where they can play, learn, grow and learn how to manage their anxieties and fears. Let’s try to remove as many obstacles from our young people’s lives as we can." - Cassandra Lane, Parent
Children who attend preschool are 5 times more likely to own a home at age 27.

    Reading And Writing

Reading is one of the best exercises families can do with their preschool-aged child. Not only is it a great way to spend time together, but it also increases their vocabulary, comprehension, reasoning, grammar and other skills. LAUP encourages reading with your child because it helps set the foundation for future success.

Following are some suggested books that LAUP recommends you read with your preschool-aged child. Click here to download the entire reading list for you and your child!

For our LAUP parents, providers and friends, we can offer a 15 percent discount on all of our recommended books if you purchase them through our preferred vendors, East West Discovery Press and CM School Supply.
