RFP for Preschool Quality Assessments
LAUP is issuing a request for proposals (RFP) to develop a pool of high-quality organizations to conduct quality assessments of LAUP-funded preschool providers using the Early Childhood Environmental Rating Scales (ECERS-R, FDCRS, FCCRS-R) measurement tools and provide a summary report for each assessment. The selected organization will conduct approximately 400 assessments throughout Los Angeles County during fiscal year 2008-2009 (July 1, 2008 through June 30, 2009).

Discount Vendor Program
The Discount Vendor Program is designed to provide cost-savings through special discounts up to 20% off on educational supplies and equipment from many retailers (see below for a list of retailers and discount details for each).
All LAUP providers are eligible to participate! Discount cards are currently being mailed out to all our contracted providers. Simply show your card to any participating retailer at time of purchase to receive your discount. Cards must be provided at all times to verify your LAUP status.
